1. Things that
will change labor policies:
The labor policies in my city are similar to those of
the rest of the country, most jobs are offered for the provision of services
and this is because politicians handle large companies and especially state
entities.
Workers who have a contract for the provision of
services, they have a lot of uncertainty and suffer every time the contract
ends, what would change, it would be the form of contracting and that the time
that is greater, and who are more time in the company are included as plant
employees.
2. Describe the supply and demand labour in your country (describe if your
city is a productive farming area or an industrial region or a touristy area,
etc.).
The city of San Juan de Pasto, is a tourist city, the
Galeras Volcanic complex stands out, in the high part is the sanctuary of flora
and fauna; We also find 30 minutes from the city to the lagoon of La Cocha, in
the center of the Laguna is the nature reserve called Corota Island with a variety
of plants and fauna.
The Chimayoy Environmental Center is 4 kilometers away
from the city, which is ideal for spending a day in the family.
In January, "The Carnival of blacks and
whites" is celebrated, which is the Historical Patrimony of the Nation.
During this time, visitors from all over the world are welcomed.
In addition, it is a productive region to be in the
Andean region, which is characterized by the wide variety of products, to have
the thermal floors for example in Nariño are grown potatoes, vegetables,
barley, beans, corn, sugar cane. Other economic activities are livestock,
mining, and the construction sector has grown lately.
In terms of supply and demand for the economic
activities mentioned above, there has been an increase in employment in the
construction sector, which is why there are several stores that offer the
products for that purpose.
3.
Describe which are the main sources of employment in your city
The main sources of employment in the city of Pasto
are, in livestock and its derivatives, in construction, in the electricity
sector, and independent entrepreneurship that becomes more important in the
export of handicrafts, in addition, there is a growth in the commerce sector
with regard to the marketing of clothing, textiles, footwear, especially for
women.
4.

companies.
One of the biggest companies in Nariño is dairy
cooperative Colacteos, it offers dairy products such as: cheeses, yogurt, curd,
quesillo, cream cheese, butter, arequipe, cream, among others.
Another big company is CEDENAR, it is the Nariño power
plant, which distributes, sells and generates electricity throughout the
